Description

Siberian is considered one of the best caviars in the world. It comes from the sturgeon species Acipenser baerii (Siberian sturgeon). Its roe is characterized by an intense, complex, crisp flavour with a distinct and clean finish that lingers in the mouth for a long time. You can sense the presence of spicy and woody notes in it, balanced by a mild saltiness.
The taste experience is unique thanks to the combination of freshness, intensity and depth. It is distinguished by a pleasant consistency, its texture is velvety and smooth, roe is elastic and shiny.
Among our Siberians, the 5-star Siberian has medium-sized roe. Roe pearls range from 2.6 to 2.7 mm in diameter, with colours varying between black, grey and shades of brown and olive. It is prepared with the traditional “Malossol” method that is with the addition of a small amount of salt.
